Role Description:
- This is a full-time, on-site role for a Senior Software Developer / Technical Specialist – Web, Application & SEO, located in Ghaziabad, India.
- The role involves developing and maintaining web applications, implementing technical SEO strategies, managing back-end systems, and ensuring the overall performance and scalability of the Jipanditji platform.
- You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features and enhancements.
Responsibilities of the Candidate:
Web & Application Development:
- Maintain, optimize, and scale the existing website and related applications for high performance, reliability, and security.
- Architect, design, and develop custom web applications, CMS-based extensions, and advanced integrations.
- Implement complex API integrations, webhooks, and automated workflows across multiple platforms.
- Develop and maintain e-commerce modules for product management, subscriptions, bookings, and payments.
- Write clean, modular, and reusable code following best practices.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with design, marketing, and operations teams.
Technical SEO & Performance Optimization:
- Implement technical SEO best practices including schema markup, canonical tags, and XML sitemaps.
- Improve Core Web Vitals, page speed, and server response times.
- Manage on-page SEO optimization and CMS-level SEO implementation.
- Collaborate with SEO and content teams to ensure search-engine-friendly architecture.
- Use tools like Google Search Console, PageSpeed Insights, and Screaming Frog to monitor and resolve SEO issues.
- Conduct site audits, mobile optimization, and internal linking improvements.
System Architecture & Infrastructure:
- Design scalable, secure architecture for web and app platforms.
- Manage hosting, server configurations, and CDN for high-traffic performance.
- Implement secure CI/CD pipelines and maintain version control (Git).
- Integrate with cloud infrastructure (AWS, Google Cloud, or Azure).
Troubleshooting & Security:
- Perform root-cause analysis and resolve high-level technical issues.
- Ensure application security, compliance, and data protection standards.
Requirements:
- Expertise in CMS platforms (WordPress, WooCommerce, Drupal).
- Strong in back-end technologies – PHP, Python, Node.js, Laravel, or Django.
- Advanced front-end skills – HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, React/Angular/Vue.
- Proficient in database design & optimization – MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Skilled in API design, integration, and microservices architecture.
- Familiar with cloud tools (AWS, Docker, Kubernetes).
- Understanding of mobile app integration (Flutter, React Native, or native apps).
- Strong grasp of technical SEO fundamentals.
- Experience with structured data, meta tags, robots.txt, and canonical implementations.
- Proficient in Google Analytics, Search Console, Ahrefs, SEMrush, Screaming Frog.
- Knowledge of server-level SEO (301 redirects, htaccess optimization, etc.).
- Proven ability to improve Core Web Vitals and site crawl efficiency.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical mindset.
- Clear communication and documentation skills.
- Ability to mentor junior developers and lead complex technical projects independently.
