Accounts Executive

Roles of an Accountant:

An accountant is responsible for managing financial records, ensuring accuracy in transactions, and maintaining compliance with financial regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and update financial records, ledgers, and journals
  • Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
  • Handle accounts payable and receivable
  • Manage GST, TDS, income tax filings and other statutory compliances
  • Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow
  • Process payroll and employee reimbursements
  • Prepare budgets and financial forecasts
  • Assist in internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies

Requirements:

Educational Qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce (B.Com preferred)
  • CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) – Added advantage

Skills Required:

  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and taxation
  • Proficiency in Tally, QuickBooks, or other accounting software
  • Good understanding of MS Excel
  • Attention to detail and high level of accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Good communication skills
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality

Experience:

  • 1–3 years of relevant accounting experience (as required by company)
