Desktop Engineer

Responsibilities of the Candidate:

  • Install, configure, and maintain desktop hardware and software for end-users.
  • Provide technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and network issues.
  • Manage user accounts, permissions, and access to systems and applications.
  • Perform regular system updates, patches, and security configurations.
  • Diagnose and resolve technical problems in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with the deployment of new hardware and software solutions.
  • Document IT procedures, solutions, and user guides.
  • Monitor system performance and identify potential issues.
  • Ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with other IT team members to support broader IT initiatives.

Requirements:

  • Proficiency in providing excellent Customer Service to end-users.
  • Strong knowledge and experience with Microsoft Windows operating systems.
  • Solid understanding of Computer Networking principles and troubleshooting.
