Key Responsibilities:
- Product & Usage Analytics
- Track and analyse product usage, feature adoption and customer behaviour across product modules and functions.
- Identify trends, anomalies and gaps in product usage and present insights to Product Managers.
- Assist with post-release analysis to evaluate feature impact and customer adoption.
- Customer & Market Insights
- Collect and synthesize customer feedback from support tickets, PoCs, onboarding sessions and customer reviews.
- Assist in analysing win/loss feedback, sales inputs and customer objections to surface product improvement opportunities.
- Support competitive analysis by tracking competitor features, positioning and product changes in the security market.
- Help document customer personas, use cases and common adoption challenges.
- Product Execution Support
- Work with Product Managers to support backlog prioritization using data, feedback and structured inputs.
- Assist in defining success metrics and acceptance criteria for new features.
- Track feature readiness, dependencies and rollout status during development and release cycles.
- Help maintain product documentation related to features, workflows and known limitations.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Partner with Engineering, QA and DevOps teams to understand feature behaviour, performance and reliability from a product perspective.
- Collaborate with Customer Success and Support teams to analyse onboarding issues and recurring customer pain points.
- Support Sales Engineering and Pre-Sales teams with product insights, usage data and feature clarifications.
- Assist Marketing teams by providing data-backed inputs for messaging, launches and enablement content.
- Reporting & Communication
- Prepare dashboards, reports and summaries for internal stakeholders on product performance and customer trends.
- Translate analytical findings into clear, actionable insights for product and business teams.
- Support internal reviews, roadmap discussions and leadership updates with structured data and analysis.
Skills and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, Business or equivalent with 0-1 year of product analyst, business analyst or similar role experience in software or SaaS product company (internship experience acceptable).
- Strong ability to organize information, analyse inputs and document clearly.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Comfort working in cross-functional and fast-paced product teams.
- Technical Awareness (Preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and API-driven products.
- Introductory understanding of enterprise software or distributed systems.
- Security Domain (Nice to have)
- Exposure to cybersecurity concepts such as PAM, IAM, access control or identity management.
- Awareness of security and compliance standards like ISO 27001, SOC 2, NIST and secure SDLC principles
